ABOUT SUN FM
Sun FM 106.5 is a local community radio station based in Whakatāne, and broadcasts from its studios in to the Bay of Plenty region. They are a great bunch of people, very funky, energetic and creative! But their brand didn't represent them and was used inconsistently by their various talented and creative employees. Our aim was to delve into who they are and get their brand to represent them, but also give them the tools to use to allow various creatives to work with the brand and keep outcomes consistent.
This brand also need to work in conjunction with Tumeke FM.
ABOUT TUMEKE FM
Tumeke FM 96.9 is based in Whakatāne reporting and connecting with Kohanga Reo, Kura, Wananga, whanau, hapu and the Marae. They are real, community focused and grass roots connected.
We needed a new brand that represented their real voice that could sit along the Sun FM brand as they work as a cohesive whole.
